We are situated on top of the mountain above the village of Wilderness, enjoying a 360-degree panoramic view; The Outeniqua mountains lie to the North, with the ocean on the South side. Towards the East are the quaint towns of Sedgefield and Knysna Enjoy your sundowner with spectacular sunsets over the Kaaimans River Pass and Victoria Bay as the sun sets in the West over Herolds Bay. Please be aware that the tar road up the mountain is quite steep and there is a short 1km drive on gravel road to the guesthouse entrance.
The Wallow is set on a 3.25ha country estate, with indigenous forest and Fynbos alongside a wallow once visited by the roaming Knysna elephants, but alas no longer.
